Chaminda's story began in Sri Lanka in 1995, as a young Banking Officer at HNB Assurance. Three years later, HSBC noticed his rare ability to make complex money feel simple — and made him a Senior Relationship Manager to their 750+ Priority clients across affluent and high‑net‑worth segments.
In 2010 he moved to Dubai and joined Nexus Insurance Brokers as a Financial Planning Manager — bringing that same private‑banking discipline into independent advisory. Today he writes over USD 1 million in insurance and annuities every year, and holds an MBA in Finance from Missouri State University alongside his CII qualification.
